Join us on the 19^th of May 2024, for a fun family day for Dachshunds, their owners and all family dogs too.

Thirlestane Castle is proud to host this event which is organised by the Scottish Dachshund Rehoming and Welfare Charity. The day will be supporting the IVDD.

11am- Gates Open

11:30am- Dachshund and Doggy Friends Walk around the Park

12:00pm- Weiner Racing, Agility and Scent Walk

12:30pm- Parade of Rescue Dachshunds

1:00pm- FunDachshund and Family Dog Classes. Including waggiest tail, show classes, fancy dress and more.

4:00pm- Event end

This event is pay on the day, please see pricing below:

All dogs £5 | Adults £1 | Children under 12 free

Catering stalls, an ice cream stand and other trade stands will be available. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

On the day all dog owners are responsible for their own actions and the safety and actions of their dogs. All dogs must be on a lead, please bring dog waste bags.
