We are delighted to offer our series of Afternoon Tea experiences again in 2024, which will be available to enjoy at Thirlestane on set days throughout the Spring and Summer.

The afternoon tea will either take place in the Victorian kitchen, with its original 19th-century range oven, or the Castle’s atmospheric, ‘old servants’ tearoom, depending on numbers. We have teamed up with our local award-winning Lauder bakery, Firebrick Brasserie, to offer this delicious Afternoon Tea experience.  The menu consists of a selection of finger sandwiches made using homemade bread and locally sourced ingredients for the fillings, and a selection of mouthwatering sweet treats.

The decadent treat can be enjoyed before or after a castle tour, or as a stand-alone memorable experience.
