Thirlestane Castle Tea Room

Visiting a wonderful place like Thirlestane just wouldn't be the same without popping in to the warm and friendly Tea Room which is conveniently located on the Lower Ground Floor next to the main entrance of the Castle.

It's a good opportunity to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee and an irresistible treat whilst reading the Castle's guidebook.

The Tea Room serves a tasty selection of drinks, light meals and home baking.

The Tea room can be visited without purchasing a Castle or Grounds ticket.

There is free wifi in the Tearoom if you want to stay and catch up with the outside world over a cup of coffee.

We even offer take away food and drinks if you would prefer to go out and enjoy our beautiful grounds with your refreshments.
